Scotland Funding Community and Learning Hub

Convening a group of funders, representatives of voluntary and community sector organisations and regulatory bodies to address the needs of Scottish voluntary organisations and the communities they serve.

Since early in the first period of national lockdown restrictions due to the coronavirus pandemic in Scotland, SCVO has hosted a series of informal monthly meetings bringing together Scottish funders, grant makers and representatives of voluntary and community sector organisations and regulatory bodies. There is clear interest in the continuation of what is now titled the Funding Community and Learning Hub ('the Community').

North East & Cumbria Funders Network (NEC-FN)

Enabling funders to be better networked, better informed and work together more effectively to improve and maximise their support to North East communities.

North East & Cumbria Funders Network (NEC-FN) was established in October 2015. The aim of the network is to enable funders to be better networked, better informed and work together more effectively to improve and maximise their support to North East communities.

There are three objectives of the Network to support our members:

  • Information exchange
  • Sharing intelligence
  • Building a picture of the North East funding landscape.

This will in turn support the following objectives:

DEI Data Standard

A group to create and utilise a standardised DEI taxonomy

The DEI Data Group is an independent working group convened by Fozia Irfan and Josh Cockroft, and includes a range of foundations and funders from across the United Kingdom. The key thread that connects these foundations is the understanding that without an effective framework to capture DEI data there can be no effective action to identify and target funding to address structural inequalities. This led to the creation of the DEI Data Standard.
