6 November 2020 - The Community Foundation Wales team spent time talking and listening to over 100 community groups and charities from across Wales. The learnings from these conversations have recently been published and will be discussed at an upcoming webinar. 4 November 2020 - The Hub is now live, with an initial programme of events and a pilot web platform launching today
4 November 2020 - The Funders’ Collaborative Hub website launches today. The Hub is a new initiative, hosted by the Association of Charitable Foundations (ACF), to help funders work together in response to Covid-19. Today is good day, therefore, for its interim project lead, Rob Abercrombie, to reflect on the role of collaboration in the funding world.
14 October 2020 - We're delighted that Rob Abercrombie is joining the Funders' Collaborative Hub as project lead until the end of the year, to oversee its launch and initial delivery phase. Rob was until recently director of transformation at Royal Foundation, and was previously director of research at NPC. Rob will be working with Ab Brightman who leads on engagement with funder collaborations, and joins the existing project group team, which has met weekly since May.
8 October 2020 - The Covid-19 crisis continues to evolve and impact deeply on civil society. Foundations are increasingly seeking to think and work in collaboration in order to maximise the benefit of their resources, demand for which continues to grow. This special event on 8 October 2020 set out the key ingredients for effective foundation collaboration, drawing on lessons from the past, examples from the present and plans for the future.
